Natural Ingredients

AstragalusAstragalus research shows it helps protect the body against various stresses, including physical, mental, or emotional stress. Early  writings refer to the herb Astragalus as “The Superior Tonic.” It is one of China’s most important herbal medicines and is commonly used in traditional Chinese cuisine.

Source: astragalus is the root of A. membranaceus or A. membranaceus var. mongholicus (A. mongholicus), members of the pea family native to northeast China, where astragalus is commercially grown. Cultivation has also begun in the United States. In China, the root is called huang-qi.

Cherokee Rose

Cherokee Rose

Cherokee Rose helps with male enhancement by inhibiting the contraction of smooth muscles and improving blood flow to the penis. Studies also suggest that it might improve prostate health. Much of erectile dysfunction is caused by various blood and circulatory issues.  In traditional medicine it was used to treat different forms of blood disorders.  Cherokee Rose has shown positive results in improving blood flow to the penis and overall health and vitality

CnidiumCnidium believed to relax corpus cavernosa of the penis, the spungy tisue of the penis that fills with blood during errection.  It is often combined with other herbs to help treat infertility and impotence. The Chinese still use the seeds as an aphrodisiac, and animal studies indicate it may improve bone strength. In rabbits, a compound found in cnidium called osthol or osthole was found to be the agent that relaxed the corpus cavernosa.  Cnidium may also have anti-cancer properties.

Source: Cnidium monnieri is a plant which grows in China (and possibly in Oregon) whose seeds are used in classical traditional Chinese medicine for skin problems and as a natural sex booster. It is known in China as She Chuang Zi.

Chinese Dodder

Chinese DodderChinese Dodder is widely used in Asia to remedy sexual problems like impotence, nocturnal emission, premature ejaculation, and low sperm count that arise from kidney yang deficiency.   It has been used for over 1000 years to treat erectile dysfunction.  Its exact process is still a mystery.

Source: Chinese Dodder comes from the viny parasitic climber Cuscuta chinensis that grows in China and from similar Cuscuta japonica in Japan. A member of the family convolvulaceae, Dodder is an annual that produces a small brown seed with powerful effects on the male constitution.

Cordyceps Sinensis

Cordyceps Sinensis

Cordyceps Sinensis  benefits may be due to more efficient use of oxygen and increased blood flow to the penis and other organs.  It dilutes blood vessels, thus increasing blood perfusion.  What brought cordyceps sinensis out into the public eye was an impressive performance at the 1992 Olympics. Several Chinese athletes broke world records in track by a significant margin. Immediately,  everybody suspected steroid use. But the Chinese athletes insisted that cordyceps were the real key to their success.

Source: Cordyceps sinensis grows wild at altitudes above 3000 meters in the mountainous regions of China. One of the unique qualities of this parasitic fungus is it’s host organism. Most fungus and mushrooms grow out of decomposing plant matter. But cordyceps sinensis is parasitic to the larvae of moths, especially bat moths.

Dong Quai

Dong Quai

Dong Quai in lab tests show that it contains compounds that help dilate blood vessels improving blood flow to the penis. Dong quai is a herb in the celery family native to China, Japan, and Korea. The root is medicinally active. Dong quai is used for erectile dysfunction, male enhancement, menstrual cramps, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and menopausal symptoms in traditional medicine. It is also used orally as a ”blood purifier”; to manage hypertension, infertility, joint pain, ulcers, “tired blood” (anemia), and constipation; and in the prevention and treatment of allergic attacks. Dong quai is also used orally for the treatment of loss of skin color (depigmentation) and psoriasis.

Source: Dong quai grows at high altitudes in the cold, damp, mountains of China, Korea, and Japan. This fragrant, perennial plant — a member of the celery family — has smooth purplish stems and bears umbrella-shaped clusters of white flowers and winged fruits in July and August. The yellowish-brown thick-branched roots of the dong quai plant have several medicinal uses. It takes 3 years for the plant to reach maturity. The root is harvested and made into tablets, powders, and other medicinal forms.

Flat-Stem Milkvetch Seed

Flat-Stem Milkvetch SeedCurrently much of the research into Flat-Stem Milkvetch seed  is focused on its immune-stimulating polysaccharides and other active ingredients useful in immune deficiency conditions.  It has long used to improve impotence, seminal emissions and premature ejaculation.

Source: Milkvetch is a perennial found throughout northern and southwestern China and northern North America. It is adapted for cold, and arid to semi-arid regions with poor or saline soils. It has a very long tap root and can get water deep in the ground.  Milk vetches are part of the bean family.  It is the dried ripe seed of Astragalus complanatus R. Br. (Fam Leguminosae).

Hawthorne Berry

Hawthorne BerryHawthorne Berry promotes circulation by protecting blood vessels from damage caused by plaque, improving circulation to the penis and body.  Motherwort is also another vasodilator; while Kudzu Root Extract is rich in isoflavones, which prevent cancer. But not only does Kudzu Root Extract prevent cancer, it also nullifies the effects of alcohol and reduces the hangover effect. Hawthorn is widely regarded in Europe as a safe and effective treatment for the early stages of heart disease and is endorsed by Commission E- the branch of the German government that studies and approves herbal treatments. It is used to promote the health of the circulatory system and has been found useful in treating angina, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure and cardiac arrhythmia. It has been found to strengthen the heart and stabalise it against arrythmias.

Source: Considered to be a herb, the shrub produces brilliantly colored red berries, and primarily originates in Mediterranean areas, although bushes have been found in other areas around the world.

Horny Goat Weed (Epimedium)

horny goat weed information

Many species of horny goat weed, Epimedium, are alleged to have aphrodisiac qualities. According to legend, this property was discovered by a Chinese goat herder who noticed sexual activity in his flock after they ate the weed. It is sold as a health supplement; usually in raw herb, tablet, or capsule form and sometimes blended with other supplements. The over-exploitation of wild populations of Epimedium for use in traditional Chinese medicine is having potentially serious consequences for the long-term survival of several species, none of which is widely cultivated for medicinal purposes.

The “active ingredient” in Epimedium is icariin  which can be found in standardized extracts from 5% up to 60% potent. Strengths above that are usually reserved for lab use

Source: Some varieties and hybrids have been in Western cultivation for the last 100 to 150 years. There are now a wide array of new Chinese species being cultivated in the west, many of which have only recently been discovered, and a number of which have yet to be named. There are also many older Japanese hybrids and forms, extending the boundaries of the genus in cultivation.

Korean Ginseng

Korean Ginseng informationKorean Ginseng have been shown to increase the release of nitric oxide in the erectile tissue improving performance. Ginseng has also been used traditionally against fatigue and as a tonic for invigorating various systems of the body. Ginseng has been term “adaptogen” to describe a  herb that could increase the body’s resistance to stress or had an invigorating action upon the consumer. Thus Korean ginseng is considered to be an adaptogenic herb. Ginseng also purportedly enhances mental concentration. Active ingredients contained in this herb may stimulate the immune system

Source: Korean ginseng grows on moist and shaded mountainsides in China, Korea and Russia. The root is long and slender and sometimes resembles the shape of the human body. In China, the ginseng roots are called Jin-chen, meaning like a man.

L-arginine was found in the 1990s, scientists discovered that l-arginine, a non-essential amino acid commonly found in the diet, is an oxidative precursor of nitric oxide (NO).  L-Arginine works to increase both the levels and activity of nitric oxide, leading to increased cGMP resulting in increased blood flow to the genitals.  Researchers at New York University School of Medicine gave L-arginine to a group of impotent men, and found that six out of 15 men receiving the amino acid claimed an improved ability, while none of the 15 men in the placebo group reported any benefits.

L-Carnitine InformationCarnitine is a substance that helps the body turn fat into energy. Your body makes it in the liver and kidneys and stores it in the skeletal muscles, heart, brain, and sperm.

Usually, your body can make all the carnitine it needs. Some people, however, may not have enough carnitine because their bodies cannot make enough or can’ t transport it into tissues so it can be used. Some other conditions, such as angina or intermittent claudication, can also cause low levels of carnitine in the body, as can some medications.

Carnitine has been proposed as a treatment for many conditions because it acts as an antioxidant. Antioxidants fight harmful particles in the body known as free radicals, which damage cells and tamper with DNA. Antioxidants can neutralize free radicals and may reduce or help prevent some of the damage they cause.

Source: The highest concentrations of carnitine are found in red meat and dairy products. Other natural sources of carnitine include nuts and seeds (e.g. pumpkin, sunflower, sesame), legumes or pulses (beans, peas, lentils, peanuts), vegetables (artichokes, asparagus, beet greens, broccoli, brussels sprouts, collard greens, garlic, mustard greens, okra, parsley, kale), fruits (apricots, bananas), cereals (buckwheat, corn, millet, oatmeal, rice bran, rye, whole wheat, wheat bran, wheat germ) and other “health” foods (bee pollen, brewer’s yeast, carob).

L-glutamine informationL-glutamine  is the most common free form amino acid in the body. Intense exercise dramatically increases the need for glutamine. While l-glutamine builds, repairs, and maintains penile muscle tissue, it is also a major source of energy for the entire body – in particular the brain! L-glutamine is essential ingredient in numerous brain functions which are vital to brain metabolism. L-glutamine performs a major role in DNA synthesis and supports the immune system.

Source: Food sources of glutamine include cabbage, beets, beef, chicken, fish, beans, and dairy products.  It can also be synthesized.

L-lysine informationL-lysine is claimed to promote testosterone in men.  It is a hormone that defines characteristics of the male body and is responsible for fertility. As men age, their testosterone levels diminish, causing balding, heart disease, low fertility and erectile dysfunction.

Source: Foods rich in protein are good sources of lysine. That includes meat (specifically red meat, pork, and poultry), cheese (particularly parmesan), certain fish (such as cod and sardines), nuts, eggs, soybeans (particularly tofu, isolated soy protein, and defatted soybean flour), spirulina, and fenugreek seed. Many nuts also contain lysine along with arginine (lysine counteracts some of the effects of arginine).

Ligustrum informationLigustrum is often used in traditional chinese medicine.  It is usually combined with astragalus root to combat long term weakness and deficiency.   It is used by men in Asia to provide stamina during loving making.

Source: Ligustrum Recurve is a fast growing, dense, upright evergreen shrub or small tree with large shiny dark green leaves. Strongly fragrant creamy flowers are produced in abundance during May.

Niacin informationNiacin is a comon name for vitamin B3.  It occurs naturally in plants and animals, and is also added to many foods as a vitamin supplement. It is present in many vitamin and nutritional supplements. Niacin is important in keeping healthy cholesterol levels in the body. Having a healthy circulatory system ensures having a healthy penis, because erection is anchored on the mechanism of blood flowing directly to the penile tissues.

Source: Niacin is found in: Dairy products, Eggs, Enriched breads and cereals, Fish, Lean meats, Legumes, Nuts, and Poultry.

Oysters help cure erectile dysfunctionOysters are the richest natural source of zinc. Six medium oysters will give you around 76.7 mg of zinc. Oysters have long been known as aphrodisiacs due to their high zinc content.

Aside from being rich in zinc, a study conducted by American and Italian chemists also attributed oysters’ aphrodisiacal properties to the presence of two compounds known as D-aspartic acid and NMDA (N-methyl-D-aspartate). The researchers found that these two compounds help release sex hormones such as estrogen and testosterone.

The more sexually active a man is, the more zinc he will need. Zinc and oyster extract are among the most common ingredients found in male enhancement supplements. While you can take a zinc supplement or eat oysters and other zinc-rich food to get a testosterone boost, a natural male enhancement supplement will provide you with other nutrients and herbs that will help increase your sex drive and improve your overall sexual health.

Raw bovine orchic concentrate is used to supply growth and repair factors for the two male sex glands, the testes. The most important male hormone produced by the testes is testosterone, a steroid that stimulates the development of male secondary sex characteristics including sex drive, development of the beard, growth and distribution of body hair and deepening of the voice. Orchic concentrate has been used in cases of male impotency and to increase sperm count. Glandulars are not hormones. They activate the gland to produce hormones. The entire point of glandular therapy is to normalize the affected gland or tissue, not to stimulate it. Consequently, it makes little difference whether the affected gland is over-active or underactive.

pistachios improve libidoPistachio are known to have health benefits like helping to lower cholesterol but a new study has revealed they can boost performance between the sheets.

Tests on men who struggled to satisfy their partners in the bedroom found nature’s love nuts reached the parts that other sex aids were unable to revive.

The Turkish study on 17 impotent married men aged from 38–59-years-old, found eating around 3.5 ounces of pistachio nuts every day for three weeks improved their ability to romp.

Source: The pistachio, Pistacia vera in the Anacardiaceae family, is a small tree originally from Persia (Iran), which now can also be found in regions of Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Sicily, Uzbekistan, and possibly, Afghanistan (especially in the provinces of Samangan and Badghis), as well as in the United States, specifically in California. The tree produces an important culinary nut.

Schizandra Fruit

Schizandra Fruit informationSchizandra Fruit can increase the body’s ability to cope with internal and external stress factors, and normalise the functions of the body. They help maintain the stable internal environment inside the body known as homeostasis.  The medicinal properties of jujube fruits have been known for a very long time. Countries like Korea and China use jujube fruits as traditional herbal medicines.
These fruits are considered to have stress alleviating properties. Powdered jujube fruit is used by some people to to calm nerves and anxiety. It is a popular stress buster in many parts of the world and also known for its rejuvenating properties. It is considered good for clearing up skin. Jujube has anti-oxidant properties.

Source: Jujube is a deciduous shrub and is called Ziziphus zizyphus in Latin. It is mainly cultivated in China and Asia (Indo-Syrian belt). However, its natural spread is unknown due to high volumes of cultivation across the world.

Vitamin B-6

Vitamin B-6 erectile dysfunctionVitamin B-6  in the body is correlated with the amount of sex hormones released. Vitamin B deficiencies can lead to lethargy and fatigue, which usually means more sleep and rest is needed, not sex. Each specific B vitamin offers your body something different in regard to your overall health as well as your penis health. The best sexual function of vitamin B complex is that it controls the “libido”. This fact should never be forgotten that no matter how good and improved your penis health already is, it will be useless if you do not posses sufficient sex drive i.e. libido.

Source: Excellent sources of vitamin B6 include spinach, bell peppers, and turnip greens.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E erectile dysfunctionVitamin E is considered the “love vitamin,” because it promotes sexual health and fertility, aside from being an antioxidant. And because of its antioxidant properties, you would have better skin and you would get that “youthful glow,” which would make you sexier and more irresistible to your partner.

Source: Numerous foods provide vitamin E. Nuts, seeds, and vegetable oils are among the best sources of alpha-tocopherol, and significant amounts are available in green leafy vegetables and fortified cereals.  Most vitamin E in American diets is in the form of gamma-tocopherol from soybean, canola, corn, and other vegetable oils and food products.

Walnut erectile dysfunctionWalnut can enlarge blood vessels and enhances blood flow to the penis.  Over 2000 years ago the Romans would eat walnuts for good sexual function.  Walnuts contain many properties to support good penis health.

Source: walnut trees have been cultivated for thousands of years, the different types have varying origins. The English walnut originated in India and the regions surrounding the Caspian Sea, hence it is known as the Persian walnut. In the 4th century AD, the ancient Romans introduced the walnut into many European countries where it has been grown since.

yohimbe review

Yohimbe is used to arouse sexual excitement, for erectile dysfunction (ED), sexual problems caused by medications for depression called selective-serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), and general sexual problems in both men and women. It is also used for athletic performance, weight loss, exhaustion, chest pain, high blood pressure, low blood pressure that occurs when standing up, diabetic nerve pain, and for depression along with certain other medications.

Side Effects: Yohimbine has significant side effects, such as anxiety reactions. According to the Mayo Clinic, yohimbine can be dangerous if used in excessive amounts.

Higher doses of oral yohimbine may create numerous side effects, such as rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, overstimulation, insomnia and/or sleeplessness. Some effects in rare cases were panic attacks, hallucinations, headaches, dizziness, and skin flushing.

More serious adverse effects may include seizures and renal failure. Yohimbine should not be consumed by anyone with liver, kidney, heart disease, or a psychological disorder.

The therapeutic index of yohimbine is quite low; the range between an effective dose and a dangerous dose is very narrow.  This may also lead to precipitation of panic disorder type reactions.

Yohimbine in combination with modafinil is frequently associated with nausea, dangerous acute rapid heart beat, and acute increased blood pressure. Yohimbine exhibits some degree of MAOI activity while modafinil has been shown to increase levels of various monamines, and therefore could result in severe risk of dangerous side effects.

Source: Yohimbe is the name of an evergreen tree that is found in Zaire, Cameroon, and Gabon. The bark of yohimbe contains a chemical called yohimbine, which is used to make medicine
